There are various stereotypes regarding the communication of men and women in using their body language. However, many of the differences in such expression of their thoughts are supported by tendencies and characteristics of two genders. This essay is an attempt to delineate the main differences in communication of men and women when it comes to dating, work or just being in social circles. 

We met on earth

 There is a common belief that women come from Venus and men come from Mars. The aforementioned fact let us believe that their body language is also different planets. At the same time, it does not make one or another gender be better or worse. In this case, we deal just with the differences. 

 

 

What on earth are the differences?

Nonverbal

Lie: Considering the lie, the body language of men is usually more relaxed whereas women   usually pretend to look either busy or more emotional while lying. It is usually much easier to notice a woman lie than men as they are more on to communication, which makes their standard behavior to be better remembered.

Under Positive and Negative situation: When it comes to the conversation in some positive atmosphere, women usually tend to bend towards the speaker. Men in this case usually tend to lean their body and bend their head to the side. In the case of a negative situation, women usually do not keep an eye contact. When it comes to men, they are more likely to look more steadily communicating with the interlocutor as if they are trying to solve the problem as fast as possible and as if they are totally right.

Compliments:  Considering compliments, men seldom make compliments and tend to joke more often. At the same time, women, like to share compliments, and they almost do not joke. That can be also connected with their general serious behavior and less flirting compared to man. However, everything depends upon personality, individual habits and upbringing background.

Verbal

Phrases: Taking into the consideration the phrases that are usually used by women, their word limit consists of more elegant phrases. At the same time men usually use more sharp and concrete words. Men usually enjoy speaking about their success and achievements whereas women do not prefer. Thus, such women’s behavior is often counted as absence of talents by many men.

Offense:  In case of offense, women, do not demonstrate their emotion instantly like men who usually display the emotion through yell and shout.  Women tend to bear their malice for a longer time and often tend to burst into tears. On the contrary, men raise their voice demonstrating their power.

Sensitive:  Compared to men women are more sensitive. They are more likely to get hurt by impolite and rude words. The aforementioned words are more likely to bring women’s body language and facial expressions in a rapid change.
